Terms & Community Guidelines
Last updated: March 10, 2026
1. Purpose
FanXI is a digital stadium for sports fans. These Terms & Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed when you participate in chats, rooms, and other user-generated content features in the app.
2. No-Tolerance Policy
We have zero tolerance for content or behaviour that harms other users or makes the community unsafe. In particular, you may not:
- Use hate speech, slurs, or dehumanising language targeting any group or individual.
- Harass, bully, threaten, or encourage self-harm or suicide.
- Share sexually explicit content, especially involving minors.
- Promote illegal activity, violence, or terrorism.
- Send spam, scams, or malicious links.
- Impersonate other people or misrepresent your identity.
3. Your Responsibilities
When you use FanXI, you agree to:
- Treat other users with respect, even when supporting rival teams.
- Only post content you have the right to share.
- Follow local laws and these Guidelines at all times.
- Use the Report and Block tools to let us know about abusive behaviour.
4. Moderation & Enforcement
To protect the community, FanXI uses a combination of automated systems and human review to moderate user-generated content. When we detect or receive a report about violating content, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Remove or hide specific messages or content.
- Issue warnings and community guideline strikes.
- Temporarily mute your ability to send messages.
- Suspend or permanently ban your account in severe or repeated cases.
We review user reports as quickly as possible and aim to take appropriate action within 24 hours when objectionable content or abusive behaviour is reported.
5. Reporting & Blocking
If you see something that violates these Guidelines, you can:
- Report individual messages in public rooms, pre-match rooms, and direct messages.
- Block users so you no longer see their messages or receive DMs from them.
Misuse of reporting or blocking tools (for example, false reports made in bad faith) may itself be considered a violation.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or community feedback. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may prompt you to review and accept the updated version inside the app.
